Surry Hills finished!

Yes, the lovely cropped cardi is finally (well, it took 2 weeks, so it was a quick knit) finished. I may not look like it in the pics, but I almost could not be happier 🙂

???????????????????????????????

???????????????????????????????

Yeah, I don´t feel really comfortable facing the cam… Anyhoo, big big thanks to Maria, who designed and generously provided this pattern and everybody who was ever so helpful in the KAL.

Not only it was quick to knit, but it is no yarn eater either, I used just under 3 skeins (100 g) of the cotton. The pattern itself is fairly clear and enjoyable, maybe not as your first cardi. I think the knitter should have a least a little experience with lace and understand how increases and decreases work.

Speaking of lace, it certainly did benefit from blocking, don´t you think?

And a little pic of the buttons I decided to go with in the end.

So, what do you think? I am certainly going to wear the hell out of it this summer 🙂
